PVC MONOFILAMENTS |
PVC monofilaments are the most widely used fibres in the industrial brush sector, as certain characteristics make this a preferred and more versatile plastic material. Excellent value for money, excellent workability, no use of stapling and flagging machines, total elimination of costs for maintenance components. Products can be manufactured in a range of profiles, flaggable or non-flaggable, with thicknesses ranging from 0.16 to 1.5 mm. Monofilaments are either level or crimped, with the option for different types of crimping; upon request it is possible to mix profiles, colours and thicknesses. The product and colour range is extremely wide and can be adapted to any type of use. PVC monofilaments are also particularly useful for the manufacture of domestic products as they are not flammable, self-extinguishing, with good resistance against chemical solvents and agents, and do not absorb water.

ANTIBACTERIAL PVC MONOFILAMENTS |
By its nature, PVC limits the proliferation of bacteria. The addition of a bacteriostatic additive inhibits the growth and formation of bacteria and prevents the development of bad smell. On request, it is possible to issue a declaration of compliance with requisites for quality and reliability. Antibacterial PVC monofilaments are ideal for brushes and brooms to clean and eliminate any microbes.

ANTI-UV PVC MONOFILAMENTS |
PVC monofilaments are also available in a version which is light-resistant and therefore not subject to deterioration by sun exposure. These ones are ideal for outdoor uses such as artificial ski runs, artificial trees serving a decorative purpose, or to hide technological equipment. This particular product is accompanied by a weather resistance guarantee, certified by a compliance declaration.

PP MONOFILAMENTS |
PP monofilaments are used in products where low density and good resistance to wear and tear is required, such as industrial and road brushes. In domestic brushes they are used above all for their good resistance against heat and for their lightness, as well as being perfect for strip brushes. These can be produced in a range of profiles, flaggable or non-flaggable, with thicknesses ranging from 0.16 to 1.5 mm. Monofilaments are either level or crimped, with different types of crimping. PP monofilaments are flammable, but have an excellent resistance against solvents and reactants. Avoid use in the presence of hydrocarbons and benzenes.

PS MONOFILAMENTS |
The strong points which make polystyrene a preferred product for the production of monofilaments are its transparency, surface shine and particularly bright colouring. PS monofilaments has a higher cost, but are ideal to obtain products of the highest quality. They can be produced in a range of profiles, flaggable and non-flaggable, with thicknesses ranging from 0.16 to 1.5 mm. Monofilaments are either level or crimped, with a variety of crimping available. They are flammable, but have good resistance against chemical agents, oils and hydrocarbons.

SAN MONOFILAMENTS |
SAN monofilaments have excellent chemical and mechanical resistance. They can be used in many cleaning products and in particular for industrial use. They can be produced in many profiles, flaggable and non-flaggable, with thicknesses ranging from 0.16 to 1.5 mm. SAN monofilaments are either level or crimped, with a variety of crimping available. They have a good chemical resistance against organic solvents and petroleum derived oils. The product is highly flammable with toxic emissions in the event of a fire.
