Who we are
Fili&Forme, a brand name of Mapei Spa, is a world-leading Italian company specialised in the production of synthetic monofilaments used in the manufacture brooms, brushes, ornamental items, and technical brushes in PVC and PP.
Founded in 1994 in San Cesario sul Panaro, in the Province of Modena, Fili&Forme became a brand name of Mapei SpA in May, 2020 and operates from a 10,000 m2 manufacturing facility.
Over the years, the company has developed its own range of products and has increased production capacity to its current level of 6,000 tonnes/year. Fili&Forme has grown thanks to its reputation for being a reliable partner particularly focused on fulfilling the needs of its Italian and international client base from both the domestic and industrial cleaning sectors..
*All filaments are manufactured with cutting edge technologies, all processes highly automated, yet maintaining a high flexibility in meeting all customers’ demands. Our manufacturing equipment is provided with sophisticated surveying and monitoring systems and is up and running 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.

We take particular pride in our commitment to use only non-toxic and environment-friendly materials. The level of emissions released by our manufacturing processes into both the workplace and the atmosphere are well below the minimum limits prescribed by current norms and standards.

On September 14th 2014, Fili & Forme celebrates 20 years of activity with a big event hosting all the staff, Italian and International partners, who made the Company grow big over the years.

Launch of new products on the market
Fili & Forme launches three brand new items on the market: FiBio, the biodegradable filaments; Seduzione, the first scented fibre and NoBact, the bacteriostatic PP and PVC filaments.

Fili&Forme consolidates their presence on International markets, opening business relationships
In foreign countries. Flagship of these years is the participation to Interbrush 2004 and 2008, confirming the position of the Company as a reference leader in the production of quality filaments.

Foundation
Fili & Forme is founded in San Cesario sul Panaro on March 15th 1994, and starts to process PVC monofilaments with three production lines.
